Jerry McCarthy, Flame-Tech's president, recognized that his chimney sweep customers really needed more. Providing service and repair of any fireplace, replacement, and design services seemed like a natural growth area for the business he was already in and the customers he knew so well.
Joining Jerry as Chief Operating Officer, Bill comes from the industrial and auto repair industry. He brings skill to the repair and service side of our business.

Both bring decades of experience to the table, are certified by the National Fireplace Institute (NFI), and were trained by the industry's leading hearth manufacturers. Bill and Jerry hold the first licenses issued in New Castle County, Delaware, and were instrumental in bringing NFI recognition and licensing to the area.
